soupsboys: Our Delaware Adventure!

Early Saturday morning the Campbell Crew piled into Daddy's truck on our way to see Daddy's friends from College Eddie and Lauren and their adorable little boy Eddie. Every year they have invited us and this year we finally got a chance to go to their annual summer party. After a LONG 8 hour drive complete with Wiggles songs, Toy Story, and abundant amounts of traffic, we arrived at our destination! We were so excited to see them and meet little Eddie and felt so blessed to have been able to make the trip to see them and other college friends who were attending the party as well. Food, fun, beer, dancing, swimming, more beer...well you get the idea, was had by all and we had a really great time. We put Reed to bed at his usual time, but allowed Ray to stay up and hang out with the guys for a while. He enjoyed learning the worm from Eddie, playing golf with Tom, and drinking his water from a shot glass at the bar. I know, not totally appropriate, but really cute! The next morning Lauren made an amazing breakfast and the boys had a great time belly slamming each other, dancing, and playing in the ball pit. The dancing included the butt dance which is apparently genetic. Both Ray and little Eddie just seemed to instinctively know how to do the dance at birth, without actually learning it from their fathers...or so they say anyway. After a brief scare with Lauren's wedding band, we left for home. Over 8 hours later, we arrived home safe and sound with two sleeping angels in the back seat. Raymond has now decided that he no longer likes our house and is telling the neighbors that we are moving to Delaware to live with Eddie! I guess he had a really great time and so did we! Thanks guys for having us!
